This futuristic projection compares Spain of the mid 1970’s to Uruguay today, in particular, the undervalued areas around Piriapolis and the less “trendy” parts of Punta del Este. If history repeats itself, the future could be quite bright for our little country. The positive comparisons are indeed uncanny. However, there are some unique hurdles Uruguay must face and overcome.
